Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When you enter a name or case number into a search tool displayed here, the query is sent to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies any result. Robeson County Court Docket does not retain or log the terms entered in those tools.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you email us, we retain the message so that we can respond. Messages remain within our organization and are not shared outside it unless a legal obligation requires disclosure.

- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring site, when one is available
- Timestamps for page views
Cookies and Analytics
Robeson County Court Docket uses cookies, which are small files stored on a device, to understand site use such as traffic patterns and page exits. Analytics providers help us review aggregated traffic information. Browser settings can block cookies, although some site functions may work differently when cookies are disabled.
What We Do With This Data
Visitor information helps operate and improve the site. It may be used for:
- Operating the site and supporting reliable page loads
- Routing a search request to the applicable partner service
- Understanding which content is useful and where improvements are needed
- Finding and addressing technical problems
- Displaying advertising that may be relevant to visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Robeson County Court Docket is a private reference site. It does not host, keep, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case records. The site provides general information about official court-record routes. Available state-court Case Summaries are searched through the North Carolina eCourts Portal, while the Clerk in the county where a case is located is the custodian for that court file.
G.S. 7A-109 addresses Clerk custody of court files, dockets, and indexes and the public-inspection baseline. G.S. 132-1 states North Carolina's general public-record policy, while court-specific custody and access remain governed by the applicable court rules. Neither statute makes this private site an official source. Nothing collected about visitors is assembled into consumer reports or records about other people, and Robeson County Court Docket is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes shown on the site are operated by outside companies. Information entered into those tools is governed by the provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its own retention and sharing practices, which Robeson County Court Docket does not control. Review the applicable provider policy before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
The site links to Clerk pages, state court resources, the Portal, legal-aid organizations, and outside search services. Following one of those links takes you to a different service, where that service's policy governs. Read its policy before submitting personal information.
Advertising partners may track activity across websites to deliver interest-based ads. That activity occurs through their systems, not through Robeson County Court Docket.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Information may be available to:
- Search partners that process a query entered through their tool
- Analytics services used to measure traffic and performance
- Advertising networks that place advertisements on the site
- Law-enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
We use standard security practices to protect information we collect. Internet-connected systems cannot be made completely risk-free, however, and no assurance can be made that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
Robeson County Court Docket is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, contact us so that the information can be deleted.
Your Data Rights
No North Carolina privacy statute is asserted here as a source of particular visitor-data rights. The North Carolina authorities relevant to court records describe access and limits for the official court file: G.S. 7A-109 concerns Clerk-held records, G.S. 132-1.10 addresses specified personal-data redactions in public court images, and G.S. 7B-3000 limits juvenile-record access. Those rules apply to official court records, not to a private-site visitor profile.
At a minimum, you may:
- Request a copy of information we have about you
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
- Request deletion of information we retain
- Ask to opt out of certain processing where that option applies
